Margaret Cho, Elvira Kurt, Shawn Majumder, The Arrogant Worms (not exactly stand up- they're a musical comedy group), Robin Williams.

Eddie Izzard.

Not really stand up, but I also like Tina Fey and also Jon Stewart and the Daily Show (and some of their correspondents do very funny skits). And also not really stand up, but more of a comedic acting talent, and that's Simon Pegg.

BILL HICKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

God I love that guy. I've been a faithful fan of his since I was 18.

"The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real coz that's how powerful our minds are, and the ride goes up and down and round and round, and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud. And it's fun, for awhile. Some people have been on the ride, for a long time and they begin to question "Is this real? Or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and they say "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because, it's just a ride." And we.....Kill those people! "Shut him up! have a lot invested in this ride, shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account. And my family. This HAS to be real." But it's just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that, you ever noticed that? And let the demons run amok? But it doesn't matter, because, it's just a ride. And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. A choice right now. Between Fear and Love. The eyes of Fear that make you want to put bigger locks on your door, buy guns, close yourself off, the eyes of Love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world right now, to a better ride. Take all the money we spend on nuclear weapons and defense and instead spend it feeding and clothing the poor of the world and it would pay for it many times over not one human being excluded and we can then explore space. Both inner and outer. In peace forever."

Even my Signature is a Bill hicks quote. I love the guy that much. Laughing

I like Chespirito. Does Ramon Valdez count as a comedian? He was Don Ramon. My favorite.

A boyfriend took me to a comedy club once, and the headliner (a well-known comedian whose name I have blessedly forgotten) didn't have a single joke that wasn't about sex or feces. I actually have referred to him ever since as "Mr. Sex & sh**", hence my forgetting his real name.

Andrew Dice Clay I'm guessing. I've never been bothered by swearing... my problem with Clay was that his act was unimaginative and not funny.

Andrew Dice Clay isn't just unfunny, he seems like a horrible person too- misogynistic, homophobic and racist. His swearing doesn't bother me but everything else does.
