cardboard.

paper bags.

course paper.

chalk.

my garage floor.

papers or erasers that squeak against paper.

lotion, or anything that makes my hands feel slimy.

mushy food (like yams.. eww)

new towels that are so soft/oily feeling your skin still feels wet after using them.

tissue with lotion in it. again, it's too soft.. i feel like it's not cleaning anything.

tags in my clothes (always cut them off) and seams in my socks (always wear them in-side-out or get seamless)

certain fabrics like wool, velvet, and some others i don't know the names of.

really high pitched and low pitched noises.. like that electronic hummm from the t.v. just after turning it off or when it's muted or from some light bulbs.

wearing nylon (makes my skin itchy)

not really sure if this counts as a "sensory" issue.. but it annoys the hell outta me when my parents come in my room to talk to me and then leave my bedroom door cracked open when they leave. if i'm in my room, i want the door closed. otherwise, it feels like a violation of privacy or something... even if i'm just checking my e-mail or playing maplestory.

I don't get why people hate filing their nails. I love how smooth nails feel after that! You folks are missing out...
But here's what I really hate:
Having my collar bone touched. I want to vomit every time.
When someone plays a note slightly flat or sharp (I'm a music nerd, I can't help it).
It's not really a sensation, but excessive eye contact, usually a minute or longer in duration. It makes my skin crawl and I feel like there's something wrong that I'm not noticing.
When people yell. Even when it's not at me, any time someone raises a voice in anger, my stomach turns into knots.
When I hear things that sound like my name in public. My name is Paul so I hear A LOT of similar sounds...
Overpowering cologne or perfume. One spray works just as well, I think. No need to bath in it.

I'm sure there's more to my list, but I prefer not to think about it.

Boom cars.

Modified car exhausts (or punked-out cars in general).

Loud motorcycles.

Big ugly diesel pickup trucks.

Traffic lights that change red just as I come up to them.

Persistent unwanted sounds such as an unattended Blackberry beeping constantly or rattling air conditioner.

Sounds of a party: loud drunken laughter, especially at night.

Bright lights at night. Headlights in my rear view mirror.

Persistently broken machines. For example elevators that never work correctly despite being serviced all the time. Can't they hire someone competent?

Advertising of all sorts, from TV commercials to ads on the Internet. I LOATHE TV commercials!

Laugh tracks on TV shows.

"Reality" television and people who watch it.

ask me abotu boom cars....

last night one parked outside our house and was BOOM BOOM BOOM for more than 5 mins, i was like nuh uh, i looked out of the window and said WHATS ALL THIS THRU TRAFFIC HERE>. DONT PEOPLE READ... WE HAVE "No Thru Traffic" SIGNS ON OUR DAMN STREET AND IT WAS GRIDLOCK. so ii called the cops and they cleared it out

we need an electronic gate with swpe cards to only let residents in and a big blinking sign.

" NO TRU TRAFFIC... AND THIS GATE MEANS IT...!!"

I hate those loud cars, too. And people who play their stereos too loud. Both types should be made to listen to polka music played at top volume right next to their ear for 10 hours straight.
