acrylic fabric - the acrylic stuffing in cheap pillows.

humans. i can let skin touch for a little while and then have to pull away - graciously and with genteel sincerity in public....In private at home...with a great mighty FLINCH and a jump and a thwack on a bad sensory day. (i can hug but cannot stand being hugged.)

feet touching the floor - except for the toes and front bit.

rain splatters and splishes on my skin.

the list goes on....

Anything involving polystyrene, the sight, the sound, the texture. It makes me shudder and almost gag.
People invading my personal space by standing/sitting too close to me or touching me.
Chalk and charcoal.
Movements/flickering lights in my far peripheral vision.
Small sounds such as someone sniffing.

Shocked It's not just me that has a problem with them?

I've never worn nylons in my life. Just touching the material makes me feel sick. Even looking for too long at other women's legs in nylons makes me start to feel nauseous as I start subconsciously imagining how they feel.

When clothes or socks go all bumpy, it drives me mad
Having sticky hands *shudders*
Having my face touched/hair messed with
Being too hot it's horrible
And having any dry fabric on my tongue *ugh*

Coldness...I get very sensative to it.

The next one is hard to describe but I feel like I have to hug a pillow tightly or have a cat next to me. I wish I knew what that was but it's something I still have trouble with.

Neon lights.

Muscle pain....There are times where it doesn't seem to exist and other times it does.

Jeans and anything rough on my skin....didn't have it as bad as a child but it's gotten worse over the years.

Loud and/or subtle noises!

Laying flat in bed...I constantly have to have pillows and more pillows.

Fatigue...and this is getting worse.

These are the things that make me nauseous to the point where I dry reach/feel like I'm going to vomit;

Velvet and some other fabrics I can't name.

Pulling too tight socks onto my feet.

Seeing other people pull too tight socks/too tight stockings onto their feet.

Thinking about pulling too tight socks onto feet (lol). eew

I don't seem to get reactions to other things (that I know of), but my reactions to these things can be fairly severe.

I can't stand being cuddled too long. I enjoy it at first, but then after too long I feel like I have to get away in any way possible.

When two or more people are talking at once with the TV on while the teenagers down the street are blasting their music and the kids next door are squealing as they play soccer.

I carefully avoid the sensory.

The rough edge of thin cardboard gives me the creeps, as well as the rough wooden bit on the tip of a pencil.

What really freaks me out is the idea (and especially the sound) of someone filing their nails. Makes me want to run up a wall or something!

I don't mind fingernails running over a chalkboard, though... It's funny to see everyone else freak out at that Wink

I have lots of sensory issues (mainly tacticle), but I'll put the worst:

1. Being wet. (Especially having my face wet.)
2. Crying children.
3. Fire alarms.
4. Tight clothing.
5. Fluorescent lights.

I dislike the feeling of certain types of drinking glasses, but there are others I am fine with.
I dislike being touched by hands, usually. I remember, when I worked in the freezer department of a supermarket, a customer I was assisting decided to show me how cold her hands were by touching my face. That was horrible.
I, too, dislike the feel of denim. I still wear jeans though, because it is only when I touch it with my hands that I find it unpleasant.
I find, usually, the laughter of a female or child to be unpleasant, which is an unfortunate thing. It kind of makes me sound like a heartless Victorian monster.

People standing too close to me
Crowds
Feathered pillows
Make up
Flickering lights
Old televisions left on standby
People angry shouting = one of the most painful noises, even when not directed at me
