| Yes definitely. I'd say it normally takes nearly an hour for me to 'switch off my brain', and i usually spend another hour in the morning 'waking up/snoozing'. I've been called lazy many times, and wouldn't be surprised at all if it was a spectrum thing. Our brains are clearly different |

| I have taken the one suggested early in this thread, the basic online ones and a Mensa one, I come out around the same on every one, and to me, they all seem to be based on the same type of very logical rationing so I really don't see there can much to be 'wrong' about the online free ones. The more... |

| [In Base 8, 10 can be divided by 2 and 4. In Base 10, 10 can be divided by 2 and 5. In Base 12, 10 can be divided by 2, 3, 4, and 6. The 8 and 9 times tables also become very simple.
base 8 is perfect as 10 divides by 2 exponentially, 10, 4, 2, 1, 0.4, 0.2, 0.1 etc in base 12 10 only divides... |

|
Does anyone really believe world peace is possible? It depends on your definition. If you imagine world peace to mean 'no violence', then clearly not, it has always been a violent planet. But no more human war? That will happen, 'we' can only make war in the way that we do with a complex use ... |

| Re; "Too bad that there is not the option of self-learning. I tend to do very well in that type of schooling. but getting it recognized is hard, if not, imposable to do." I totally agree, the need to 'have formal qualification' has made a society of 'exam passers' not learners. Of course y... |

| Women are very hard to understand, but I seem to be good at understanding them. Firstly I will say a little about myself; I am not diagnosed aspie, but strongly suspect I am (171/200 Likely AS, 35/200 NT). When I was a child girls totally confused me, not helped by my going to an all all boys gramma... |

I play guitar, various keyboards, banjo, harmonica etc etc (honestly). I am more or less completely self taught. I cannot read music, I barely understand tabliture. I feel like I don't really understand how I know how to play, it just feels natural to me. Do other aspies share this juxtoposition? |

| one hundred years ago, on the front lines of the first world war, soldiers chose to have a friendly ceasefire because it was christmas, I believe this is where we must look to understand how peace can be found, thru empathy, tolerance and knowledge. | I am in the UK. Birmingham is the second largest city of the UK, but is also one of the most landlocked. The Main Island of Britain is long and thin, and therefore you can only be around 70(?) miles from the cost, wherever you are. Birmingham sits fairly centrally, and so will be considered the drye... |

| Disgust is something I could never understand. 'They' seem to believe, one animal is cute, one is food, one is vermin, and that these are non-interchangeable. Certain bodily fluids are worse than others, certain bodily functions require excusing, and some, despite being perfectly natural, are not pe... |
