That's fine! You look friendly enough, Metalaspie.

I was actually dreading the picture more than the 50 question driving test which I aced, by the way. (I need that fact under my picture. He's okay. He aced the test.)

I actually got let go from a place because they said I was disrespecting a co-worker. I told them I had aspergers (undiagnosed) and it's hard to connect with folks at first but the fact that I was undiagnosed was the thing for them because they went ahead and let me go. It was an archival operation ...

I had to get my picture taken for a drivers license renewal and am once again horrified. Something about sitting for that stupid picture sets off that disconnect thing I have and I end up looking.... Well, I have the look my cat has when she's on the litter box. Does anyone else have this experience...

Your Aspie score: 107 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 90 of 200
You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

Do I like caves? Pfht... OK, whatever.

It's certainly a factor in helping me land a job. Wouldn't mind some of those disability benefits I've heard about.

Can you get disability benefits with Aspergers? I have sleep apnea, too...

Like what? Being labeled "disabled"?

I've just started learning about Aspergers Syndrome, and at 43 figure I am suffering from this condition.

Wrongplanet.net seems like a great place for aspies to hang out and I will be paging through the web site and see what's going on.

Thanks for posting Grimbling! I appreciate it. I don't have OCD or Depression, I guess. I can certainly remember OCD going on as a very young kid. Eye contact problems, weirdness like finishing other peoples sentances, coming off like i didn't want to deal with anyone. Hard to know which is Asperger...

At 43 I'm just learning about Aspergers Syndrome. From what I've read, I think I suffer from this. Is it worth going out and getting diagnosed? Is there therapy or medicines? I tried going to a psychiatrist but didn't know where to start and he wasn't giving me any direction on what to say or where ...
