My son was different from the beginning. I put the development books aside because they didnt apply to him. School teachers noticed, pediatrician noticed... dad didnt want to see it until school became so challenging... finally at age 14, he has been evaluated. For girls, which I am, I hit milestone...

I find my aspie child easier more of the time during outbursts. My NT daughter can get so loud that I feel like running away... or worse, the silent scream face/dear caught by the headlights takes over me. My aspie son, I can see the beginning of his spiral up or meltdown, and know that it will pass...

Are we more likely to be taken advantage of and/or used/abused in "intimate" relationships or marriage? The only things I could find on the internet highlighted how abusive we can be towards others. It makes sense to me bc I dont see other people's motivations and agendas, I take people at...

Males are easier to talk with... I can go sit at a bar and talk about sports or world events. We dont even have to make eye contact! With women, I can talk easier with them now (in my 40's) than when younger, but need alone time after bc I find it exhausting. I always thought it was bc I was a tombo...
