I am taking my son to a specialist who treats aspies biomedically: nutrition, supplements, allergies, etc. Her name is Dr. Mary Megson in Richmond, VA. Has anyone ever been to her before, or had this kind of treatment? If so, how did it turn out?

You are not alone. My son is in the process of being diagnosed, and in almost the same situation. He gets no help from the school because it doesn't "impact" his education. He has expressed his desire to "kill himself" or his wish that he was never born. I'm sure that we are not the only parents out...
