Yep, I'm terrible with verbal instructions.
Tell the person to slow down and write each step down, even if its a quick something that only you can understand...

I always have to hold a map in the direction I'm going otherwise it makes no sense to me.

I'm exactly the same. Short and long term memory are terrible, but I do sometimes remember long term stuff that is not important at all! Short term wise I'll even struggle to think of an everyday word when trying to tell someone something, in the end substituting something that doesn't quite fit, ma...

Yep love this show and I really identified with Elliot straight away. I'm a techie too so like how they get things right for a change in a TV show or movie! I sometimes find TV shows hard to understand when they don't explain things fully so have struggled a little bit with this but my wife normally...

Hmm, I don't understand small talk at all, why do NTs love it so much?! I'm a very private person and don't like anyone knowing much about me or what I get upto etc so I find people asking me questions in small talk very intrusive so I just give the vaguest answer I can and try to end the conversati...
