Ummm, neither really. But between those 2 options, I like disorder better from the aspect of it meaning irregular. Though really I don't feel either one fits me well. I don't see myself as disabled and though I might be different, disorder doesn't really fit all that well either. Step in my house an...

Um, yes, all the time! I procrastinated finding a therapist for >1.5 years because making the phone call caused so much anxiety. I procrastinate things at work that make me anxious, and that's bad as the putting it off makes the anxiety worse. I've been working on not procrastinating - or at least n...

Did I know I was different? Not really. I felt like the black sheep of the family - lazy, anti-social, shy, "difficult". I was frequently told I was difficult and I'm still reminded of that by my mom. Gee.. thanks.

Hi! If you aren't sure and want to know get a diagnosis. That's what I finally did at 40. If you "might" be bipolar and can function off meds bipolar (most meds for depression are a bad idea if you are bipolar) you would most likely be bipolar 2 like me. It tends to run more to the depres...

Hi! New here... I'm 33, F, and lately been thinking more about whether or not I have Asperger's. It was something my mom & sister suggested to me a few years ago, but I wasn't really ready to hear it at the time (they presented it like "you're defective and need to change"; did not go ...
