I think just flat out saying no to M is probably some form of "childish" or other adjective. I'm sure there's always an exception to the rule. But yeah I totally dislike most games involving shooting or horror, probably PTSD related tho. I never understood horror as a genre, I don't need h...

When people complain about my mumbling I start doing a bad david lynch impression. I by default have kind of a deep quiet voice but speaking in a higher register like lynch cuts through any ambient sound so everyone can hear me fine without having to yell and strain my voice.

They are two different disorders----but there is some overlap between them. An autistic person can have symptoms of schizophrenia, and vice versa. You seem to be coming out very strong against this idea. (Not all this is specifically directed at you kraftiekortie but just the general response I hav...

What do you mean "why those symptoms exist"? We don't know the causes of autism. All we really know is that there is a genetic component, evidenced by autism seeming to run in families. Yes we don't know the "cause" of Autism and neither do we know the cause of Schizophrenia. We...

In 8th grade I was in gym class and everybody was lined up and then for no apparent reason to me the gym teacher asked me to come with him to his office. Everyone was still lined up to go outside. He accused me of being smoking weed. Never touched the stuff, never was around the stuff, wasn't really...

I've known plenty of autistic people, and some schizophrenics, too. No...they are not part of the same disorder. Though "autism" was stated to be a characteristic of dementia praecox (schizophrenia) by Eugen Bleuler early in the 20th century. You're taking a top down look at it. Look at i...

I fail to see how it's more nuanced than that it either is or isn't. You either ignore the truth and reality or see it for what it is, or atleast what you perceive it to be. Who decides what is or isn't objective reality. You only know your perspective. after all Reality is what you make it the tru...

I think the "poor motor skills" is only for ASD with problems involving perception of positions of objects in space and motion of object.
I don't think it's a very common trait though for those on the aspie end of the spectrum. (don't quote me on that) |
