We can't have a thread like this without this song being mentioned at least once.

What would you do if you woke up an 20 years old at a New Wave Club in 1987? I'd wonder who slipped me drugs and what kind of drugs they were @_@ Then inevitably immediately sign up for dial up as soon as we hit the early 90's. Why wait? Dialup was available in the 80s...gosh, I don't know how peop...

Do what I always do. Join the Labour Party, and do stuff related to that. I'd probably watch Spitting Image, get a job working for Royal Mail, and grieve for the WWW having not been a consumer service yet. Then inevitably immediately sign up for dial up as soon as we hit the early 90's. I'd also tak...

Possibly the oddest thread I've posted on. I eat lots of broccoli. It makes no difference at all to how I feel. I can see no mechanism by which it, or any other food, would make a difference. It's sulphoraphane that's the treatment, and broccoli just happens to contain it. I'd imagine one would eit...

I had broccoli recently for the first time in years. I did feel different, but I'm not sure if it was in a good way. I think it gave me a slight headache actually.

I'm tempted now to organise a little meetup, just myself and two potential friends, in either a pub or a coffee shop. Thus far when it comes to meeting people and making friends it's only told me what I felt I already intuitively knew, yet at the same time has confirmed for me that this is the way t...

To my pleasant surprise the book has arrived a day early, around midday, just before I left to see the wolves.

I shall have a read tonight.

After spending a few minutes floating in space, they burp it out again and are crowned global head of state. ----------------------------------- It is 2100. Most, but the one I read wasn't a particularly conventional one. It was also comparatively obscure. So I'd count this as being the first "proper" book on the subject I'd have read.

I haven't been to class since early October, but yesterday I found out through WhatsApp that one of my classmates died. It was a typical Saturday for me, when I have a routine, that is. Wake up, take the dog outside, change, eat breakfast, watch Soccer AM, eat lunch, watch Futurama, and then go to t...

As individual consumers, a boycott of Chinese manufactured goods would only make a negligible difference, if any. An international boycott would have to be initiated by federal governments - a good start would be a trade boycott - withdrawing from international trade agreements etc. and citing huma...
