Currently going through a lot of the same. One thing that helps me deal with the anxiety aspect is whenever I do something outside my comfort zone, I carefully and slowly prepare beforehand. Lay everything I need out in front of me, make sure I'm well-groomed, my clothes are neat, etc, and move slow...
