I saw a naturopath and she fixed a few of my main issues and after that I’ve been able to sort out the rest. I'd love to know some details. PM if you prefer. Sure. I’m happy to share. What in particular did you want to know? Getting myself healthy has become a special interest of mine so if I don’t...

I know that feeling quite well :) When I was a kid - I used to play Elite, which is a computer game with lot of freedom and people could choose if they wanted to become a merchant or a pirate or a sellsword. I usually ended up just flying as far into the unknown as possible. It felt so calm and com...

i should have been more specific- the angry people seemed for the most part, to be the socially successful ones chafing at the complaining of the non-socially successful ones. the "ironic" comment referred to the contrast between the "love" and the emotions expressed on the love...

a fair amount of angry people there for some reason, ironic. Gee, I wonder why. After all, people on the spectrum never face rejection. And if they do, it never accumulates over the lifetime. And if it does, it never gets to the point of having the need for it to burst anywhere, even when the venue...

I feel this way too at times, fairly frequently actually. I am sort-of all-or-nothing in that I feel really centered and content, then I vacillate and wonder how I am going to do this the rest of my life, alone. I also dislike how people put more stock into blood kin than friendship/love kin. How p...

We both know this statement is meaningless. There must be a root cause, the doctors may not have the tools for finding it or may be simply not interested, but it doesn't mean it's not there.

All depends on the provider. Lots of people out there who are licensed to perform psychological activities are just hacks who learned a few tricks. Sounds like the OP got a sucky provider. It's not the methodology, it's the application.

1) Sign up for Muay Thai. Do that for six months, at least 3 times a week, more is better.

2) Sit for a 10-day vipassana course

Actions bring change, not ideas or advice.

It wasn't testing or anything like that; I guess you would call it 'family talk'. My other and father both struggled with it and many other family members have had depression and it has killed some. Getting family history like this can be hard if you aren't connected to your family though, especial...
