why is it socially taboo to write in long paragraphs? An answer (mine): it's physically hard to read long paragraphs on screens. Breaking paragraphs down into short sub-paragraphs (4 or 5 lines seems common) to introduce white space helps. I find it easier than succinctity. Another answer: gnat-lik...
