Not sure about people being psychic, as I'm often told I look annoyed, or bored, pissed off, or worried or whatever when I'm merely in a kind of neutral mood.
Anyway, OP, sounds like this builder is doing the usual thing of tyre kicking to extend the scope of the work and get you to pay more. |

| Yeah, get this in some supermarkets with harsh strip lighting and noise. I just want to get out of there as quickly as possible but without abandoning the reason for being there, so my behaviour from my partner's point of view can become quite "challenging". |
