And as for ethernet ports, wired lines will always be faster than wireless. It is being rumoured that new Mac models to be released later this year will support 802.11ac "gigabit" wifi, supporting up to 1.3Gb/sec connections. Which is faster than gigabit ethernet, with 10GE still a long way from do...

Better still, why not title it "Computers, mathematics, science, and technology" in respect to the many English-speaking autistic people outside North America.

No ethernet port!? So how the computer is supposed to connect to internet? A usb port? Going completly wireless? (Which would be stupid for the futur, as radio waves can't compete with optic cables for the amount of data it can send.) That is like asking how is a computer supposed to connect to a p...

If the field was 52.5m wide then it would be rounded up to 55m as the nearest 5m. So the widest the field could be for 50m to be the nearest 5m is 52.4(9)m long. Similarly the longest it could be is 114.(9)m long. Of course with rounding 52.4(9) x 114.(9) is 6037.4(9)8 which does round up to 6037.5,...

It is definitely one of my favourite programmes, unfortunately here in the UK it is treated very poorly. It is shown on BBC TWO on Saturday afternoons but a different time each week, sometimes with no episode for several weeks, and they always stop before the end of a season (or half season). Curren...

The Internet is just one example of an internet. I must admit I usually spell it the wrong way with the lower case "i" though. For some reason I always seem to make a lot of enemies on web forums, to the point that I usually end up leaving them. I have no idea why it happens as I do not, that I am a...

I am not particularly keen on phones too. When I was working it was probably the one thing I feared the most, having to answer the phone.
When the phone rings at home I do not answer it unless I recognize the caller's number.

I have measured and my normal letter height seems to be 1/16th of an inch.

I have a lot of fears, but I do not know how many of them are actual phobias. Heights and tight enclosed spaces probably are phobias. I have spells when I do not like going out and so do not leave the house, but I think these are just related to my fear of social situations rather than an actual pho...

I live in London, I have been here two years now but was born in Yorkshire, and have lived in Essex, Wales, and Yorkshire again. As for the word to use for a toilet, I disagree with vetivert about the name "toilet" being the common one. "Loo" is common and I really do not like it. This page explains...

Mine is very small and illegible. My hand writing is very small too, ever since School people have commented on it. At university I used an A5 notebook and had two columns on a page! I will try and take some pictures of it later so people can judge how legible it is. It varies though between neat (...

The British version used to be a favourite of mine a long time ago, I have no idea why they stopped making it over here. They did not even show the American version in its place even though it is almost identical. Apart from a different host and musician, as well having special guests, the American ...
