So this is weird... I wound up on this thread searching for information about the Sameer character and the actor. I was unsurprised and felt let down that to prepare for the role it said he talked to ABA people. Then I was surprised and pretty psyched to read the part about Elba being late-diagnosed...

Like earlier posters, I took some time off (a handful of years?) since I was here last. I loved Everything's Gonna Be Okay. Gender/sexuality variety in the autistic characters, and has an adult diagnosis plotline at the end of the second season. I'm actually using it for part of my dissertation.
