This may sound a bit mad, But listening to Bob Marley in particular and other reggae music seriously relaxes me and stops me from stimming at all.

Listening to electronic punk and other high tempo music does the complete opposite, and can make me stim far more.

As is increasing because there is a greater demand for people with AS traits as there is an increased demand for Jobs related to Computing, IT, Electronics and Science. a good looking girl will be popular no matter what, she doesnt have to say or do much, guys want a piece of her, girls admire her for her beauty.

So a good looking aspie girl has it easiest of all aspie types.

yes, if th epill meant i could express myself better and socialize better, then there would be no problems at all in taking it, i'd be daft not too, even if my IQ was lowered a bit.

I think people on the autism spectrum find it easier to show emotion to Films and Theatre, where there is a clear emphasis on emotions and they are simplified, music cues are used to exxagerate and hint at emotions, and it is intrapersonal, so the person has no fear of being rejected for displaying ...

yeah good point about the 1980's and dotcom boom.

I read that Silicon Valley has the highest percentage of autistic children in the world, 4 times the national american average.

It would be interesting to see if there are different percentages of Aspies in different parts of the world, in relation to the recent historical li9festyles of those populations (hunter gatherer, bronze age, nomadic farmers etc).

Might there not be some evolutionary advantages for a certain percentage of a human popoulation to have aspergers. yes i always get this.

a few hours after 1 or 2 cups of coffee, and i can become almost in a state of a fit, im grimacing like crazy, stimming loads, i feel depressed, i cant pay attention to anything in my mind, i feel paranoid.

If im to be overly clear cut: People with aspergers have a tendency to contribute to society like MACHINES doing a mechanical process. (eg a computer programmer) NT's are much more likely to contribute to society with EMOTIONS, SOCIALIAZING and ART. Thats not to say aspies dont contribute to society...
