I don't really agree that being gay is strictly genetic or unchangeable or arises at birth and remains throughout a person life. That can happen or be the case, but it doesn't have to be. I believe that a person might be inclined towards being LGBTQIA+ at birth, but that humans have epigenetics goi...

I think sex and nudity are overused in media. For me, it has nothing to do with morals (I consider myself pretty sex-positive). More often than not, the way it's handled just feels like a cheap tactic for more money or a distraction from a bad plot. If the sexy bits are relevant to the plot, that's ...

I've got homework that I need to do ready for going back to college. I've tried commiting myself to doing a bit every day for the past couple of weeks. However, doing this has made me anxious throughout the day of the impending task. Then, when I come to actually do homework, I barely get anything d...

Hot weather is a curse for me. I love it but I overheat easily. I have more than once staggered home with heat exhaustion because I had no idea how hot it was until the symptoms set in.

The Tories planned to prevent discussions of (among other things) STIs before Year 9.
The first dose of the HPV vaccine is typicially given in Year 8.
Hilarity would have ensued.

I doubt that Starmer will be much better than Sunak:
  • He's stopped recognising trans people as legitimate and has apparently supported the UK's puberty blocker ban.
  • His plan on gradually banning smoking is dubious when it's easy to bypass the current age restriction.

Can I join in with the campaign to 'Stop the Shock', or will the authorities not listen to people outside the US?

I reacted very badly to my second Covid shot. I woke up the next day feeling like total cr@p. I was talking about offing myself with a shotgun & I don't remember saying any of that. Cass had planned to leave to spend a couple days with family but she had delay it for a day. She couldn't leave m...

Yes, if you haven't had it or been exposed, I think it is a good idea to get the 2 shot sequence, particularly if they say it works on the strain going around. They missed a little last time. Plus my exposure to diseased people is very low. I'll shop on a timer if disease is going around. I'll zip ...
