Eragon. My little sister listened to it obsessivly on tape, and it was so freaking cliche I couldn't bring myself to read it, despite my friends recommendations. Really- did that book have ONE original idea? "The Icon", or something- it was a trashy 'romance' novel from the 70s that made the rounds ...

Depends on what you mean by repetitive.
