i like its pressure, dislike it when rubbing my skin (i will often (unvoluntarely) put my hand between the belt and my neck) I like the pressure of a seatbelt and I am very security contentious - I can't ride in a car without a belt - will even use a child's seatbelt if an adult's one is not there,...

Sounds that cause me to get angry/upset/ or cause a meltdown: car horns tooting - instant rage should I be outside the car and someone just presses the horn for a bit of fun, children screaming when they are playing and I am nearby them, any sudden loud sound - like someone sneaking up behind me an...

I can understand the feelings of others on an intellectual level when I have enough information about the person. One thing I still have a lot of trouble with is greeting cards. At work, if a co-worker experiences a death in their family, my other co-workers and I will all chip in and get them some...

As far as I can really remember, 'see' the words people speak, if that makes any sense. Almost like the words for hearing impaired on TV. If I cannot picture what the word looks like, like a different language, I have problems understanding it, and can't memorize it. I always thought this was norma...

Are you bothered by normal incandescent light bulbs? And what type of monitor do you have? Yeah, I hate florescent lighting. Everything about them I really do not like. Even when they flicker, it drives me insane - lol. I have an LCD monitor and TV - which I both have the brightness turned down. I ...

I so have sensitivity to sunlight - but not so much as a child. It came about when I was in my late teens and has become progressively worse the more I age. I can't just walk outside on a sunny day. I've got to have my overfitters cause I have glasses (regular shades don't work with prescription gla...

I'm Grapheme-color Synesthetic. My number 3 is bright yellow. :) All the numbers and letters have their own colour although some do share the same colour with other letters and numbers. And within a word or number, depending on the brightness/solidness of the letters, the letters that aren't so brig...

New songs that grab my attention instantly get the repetition process - usually anywhere between 10-50 times on repeat and I don't get sick of them. I then play something else and incorporate that new song into the 'general list'. It is like these special new songs have to go through an initiation o...

I do that too. Usually it is something shiny like a nail or a tack on the floor.

My Aspie Powers :)

I'm really creative and have an acute sense of hearing. Can hear stuff that no one else can hear or rather, can hear stuff long before anyone else does and they usually have to strain to hear what I can.

Hi, Thanks for the welcome. Helps me to feel at home here. I do many different forms of art: drawing, sketching, taught myself how to draw Japanese Anime last year and did a few portraits for friends - converting them to that form of art with the large eyes and spiky hair. I also enjoy arts and craf...
