yes- i wouldnt say alarming- but its definatly really hard to describe, and produces an immediate, strong reaction.
its really common- but i can see no reason for it. the construct of the upper arms seems to have nothing notable.. so why such an issue???
its weird. |

| jedi- dont get misled by the whole empathy aspect of AS. i think far too much emphasis is placed on that- it varies from one AS person from another, and from day to day in the individual. i thought i was really empathic- like most AS girls i can cry at the drop of a hat- but i often miss things allt... |

| i understand- just about- the link between lots of facets of AS- cognition, sensory stuff, really. i cant read clocks properly because my cognition is weird, which also causes my dyslexia, and means i cant drive etc- fine. but i've never been able to understand why this SPECIFIC part of the body sho... |

| Squirrelrat- ha yes! i had EXACTLY the same thing - from being told to 'well, you cant have it very much' to 'you just think you do' by 'experts'. i was really lucky that i found some female presentation stuff on here a couple of months after i heard about AS. when were you dx'd? most of AS is invis... |

| hi mysty- thanks, but no, i disagree...what i wanted to know was their opnion on which *aspects* of AS i do, and dont, have. eg- i have really severe sensory problems, auditory processing problems. also sometimes poor cognative processing problems, but im still really bright- which seems contradicto... |

i have out of sync sleep patterns- maybe a 30 hr cycle- and it makes me ill to be awake too much in the morning, bedtime is always around 2-3am, whatever amount of sleep i get. that's just how my body is programmed.
i thought this was common in as.?? |
