Welcome back after that brief hiatus of 15 years. ... Thanks for the warm welcome! Like many friendships/hobbies etc I always mean to return at some point and just rely on the hope that things will still be there when I think to go back! I have been reading quite a bit on Reddit etc about AuD...

I find myself back here again after a brief hiatus. A negative diagnosis for Aspergers many years ago flung me into a bit of spiral of self questioning, substance abuse and various challenges caused by comparing myself to others and feeling dreadful. This morning I was officially diagnosed with ASD ...

Thanks people for all of your suggestions. I am going to check out the noise reducing headphones ASAP as they sound super useful. I eventually got to work today. Still cannot believe how expensive the damned bus is! A combination of wearing my hood up, hardcore earplugs and one of my Mandarin textbo...

To cut a long story short my car got written off. I am now relying on buses to get myself to work; This pretty much eats up that all I earn in a shift as I only work part time making the whole process pointless, but that is a different story entirely! Today I had a meltdown on the bus and spent pret...

I can relate to this. All of my grandparents have departed but I didn't feel much at the times of passing. Not sure why, I just don't grieve the same way most people do... I felt bad because I wasn't really experiencing the same emotions to the rest of my family. I had a good relationship with all o...

I feel your pain, the same thing happened to me the other day. Those V8 Range Rovers are damn quick off the line inspite of having the weight and fuel consumption of a small country!
I need a new car, actually no scratch that, there will be deaths if I get anything quicker! |

Do you have any sort of electronics experience? Am guessing possibly not in which case maybe do not take anything apart and get a pro to help. Every guitar problem I have had has been resolved with relative ease but i do a lot of electronics fiddling. Has the guitar had any serious drops or knocks l...

For sure! I have never had any issues regarding hands and I am always bothering my gf (in the nicest possible way!). Just as long as nothing goes anywhere near my feet, nose or mouth there is usually no problem!

I agree- In my experience way more drama with a more NT partner mainly due to fundamental personality clashes. My gf is not confirmed but I have never met anybody who is so eerily similar to me in so many ways. Having said that I have never been happier. I have been with others who were almost my co...

Wow thanks people, wasn't expecting so many responses or for this issue to be anything like as common! I will see if anything comes from making a doctors appointment. I could also speak to a couple of my friends as one is a qualified Medical Herbalist and another is a GP so between them maybe there ...

I seem to remember reading somewhere that thermoregulation problems can be a feature in ASDs. I have always had real problems with overheating during sex and to be honest it is really getting to be a bit depressing now. Just wondered whether anyone else has experienced anything similar? I don't mean...

Currently I am not very productive. I thought maybe my quandary falls under the 'ole creative block definition. Now that I think about it I often attempt drawn out sessions of drawing/painting etc only to be plagued by cramps/dead limbs caused by sitting awkwardly on the floor. I don't have a lot of...
