Many teenage boys are idiots. Many teenage boys are nice, caring people. Almost all teenage boys can be both, depending on circumstances.

Its sad you havent met any nice ones.

Remember that news =/= doctors. This "shy eating" would probably be considered a diagnostic criteria for anorexia or ED-NOS. Not an illness on its own.

Im glad they revise the DSM. After all, homosexuality used to be considered an illness in the DSM. It's not anymore.

The US isnt a democracy. Its a representative republic. That is, you dont get a say on every one of the issues, you merely elect someone to speak for you. The Queen has her chosen representative to New Zealand, the Governor General. The Governor General has less power than any member of parliament, ...

See, I struggle to have sex with people I care about but have no problem with random sex. Because of having emotional delays Im kind of like a kid - except I like having orgasms. So with people I care about and love I would feel weird about having sex with them - I like hugging and playing and being...

There were just loads and loads of people in the supermarket. I didnt have time to listen to here yell at me, and I was already really tense from be...

I take a high dose of ritalin, and have since I was 13. It saved my life. If I had kept up what I was doing, I would be in jail or dead by now. I was kicked out of four schools before I was 13, because I wouldnt sit still and was extremely violent towards anyone who pissed me off. I had no friends, ...

I think I have ensured that I will not be included in any more christmas shopping. I had a meltdown (screaming, breaking stuff) right in the middle of the supermarket. Im calming down now, my brother picked me up and stowed me in the car.

I'm sorry to hear that LabPet. People can be so cruel. But some are that way because they have their own insecurities and it makes them feel better about themselves. Ah Teddy, my problem is I don't say much but when I do my speech just doesn't come out right. You sorta sound like me, my speech is l...

Penseive, I know how you feel. Often when I go to new places I think "Oh, I'll just pretend I am mute, I won't talk at all." But I cant keep my mouth shut! I sometimes wear a badge which says "I have speech difficulties" I always find it funny that people speak slower and louder to me, same as if th...

Your son is going to need reminders for a looooong time. Im 19 and I have, stuck to my dressing table "Teddy's list of things he needs to do to get out the door on time" Which includes such banal things as "brush teeth for two full minutes with timer" and "put on socks and shoes." Perhaps sitting do...
