I definitely believe in soul mates. However, I'm not so sure that the emotional experience of falling in love with someone indicates they're your soul mate. Soul mates are God's way of accounting for things behind the scenes, and whom we fall in love with, and whom we marry, are just our best guess.

Not really. Most aspies have a ton of useful information stored in thier heads. Just not the intuitive ability to use it well. So I ask questions about my date's past, and about what they're interested in. The problem is that at some point I delve into factual minutia along those lines of conversation, and it bores my date, and they don't want to see me again.
