I got bullied and picked on a lot (and still today, I'm 24). It got a lot better in high school when some of the popular kids would use me for group assignments. I don't think humanity as a whole are dumb. If you look around, you can find some fairly educated people. That has nothing to do with it, I've met smart people with little education and stupid people with advanced degrees. Your educational credentials, your intelligence and how cultured you are are...

I don't have a lot of love for PETA; see the book "The Non-Profit Industrial Complex" which starts to address the problems with both PETA and Autism Speaks and other non-profit groups. But to claim they have "long-standing ties" to ALF and ELF is just plain ridiculous. Most people involved with ALF ...
