I live in the North Austin area. Been considering finally getting evaluated. I've suspected having Asperger's for a few years, but I've been doing okay in life so I haven't had a whole lot of reason to get diagnosed. Now I think I'd just like the comfort of knowing for sure whether I have it or not....

Would getting an official diagnosis have any sort of effect on getting accepted to schools and/or getting scholarships? If I did get an official diagnosis, would I have to tell the colleges I apply to?
