I am, for a lack of better word, boring. Due to depression, my interest in life is non existent. While I'm no longer depressed, I still got no zeal for life. I don't have any special interest/obession that would make good conversation, and like many aspies I'm socially inept. sounds like me?haha :D...

I don't know if this applies to your situation, but I find that I have a hard time feeling emotions directly. When people I know have died, I rarely feel much of anything. I guess it's just a self preservation reaction. When people get very emotional around me, I either try to get away or I become ...

Thank you for all replies. They give me some directions when I have no idea where to go. And yeah, I wish I could ask the wizard of Oz for a nice heart too. If only it was that easy. I tried apologizing to my parents today and I had no idea if it's effective or not. I fail at reading people. From wh...

I won't go into the details, but here's the crux of the matter: I broke my parents' hearts today Intellectually, I realize that I'm a loser, a monster, an a**hole, cold, wrong, bad, horrible, selfish, ungrateful, unfilial and many other adjective that I don't know of. Emotionally, I don't feel a thi...

Is it possible for you to just ignore her? Just give her a nod of acknowledgement when you met, but have nothing else to do with her. Don't even try to be cordial and said hello. She obviously want nothing at all to do with you.

Unless you are independently wealthy, you need a job. To get a job you need the social skills to demonstrate to a potential employer that you have what it takes to make a positive contribution to that employer's workplace. Unless you are planning to hold an entry level job until retirement, you are...

Define being part of society. I think we have different definitions of that. From what I know, being part of society mean having 'friends'. Chances are, if I'm going to have any I would have to play pretend to be normal. Not fun. When I work, I'll probably have colleague, but I don't have to interac...

What exactly is society? It never did anything for me or others who really need help. All it did is demand, expect and condemn. Why should I care about it? Why should I want to be part of something like that? I feel you SO hard on this one. Yesterday I had this conversation about society, my family...

My parents wouldn't stop pestering me about 'living in society', 'functioning in society' and 'being part of society'. What's this society thing they keep going on and on about? I guess that mean they want me to have more relationships and act more like a normal person what ever that is, but I can't...

Thank you for letting me know that it's a scam. Now I can stop wasting time and energy, thinking of the correct way to tell someone you can't help them. BTW, if I shouldn't received offers of friendship from complete strangers and any PM I sent to strangers will be seen as scam. Exactly, how do I go...
