I am updating the situation with Trueman Bradley: Unfortunately, I can no longer send anyone a file of this manuscript(as I mentioned at the beginning of this thread) because the book was published and so it is now for sale at http://www.jkp.com/catalogue/book/9781849052627

As an addition to my above message: Do you think it is possible to have Asperger but also have one or two NT skills? (such as being skilled at reading non-verbal cues?) Considering most things in life are variety and there are no absolutes, I think there must be a great many kinds of Asperger, not j...

I've been wondering lately if neurotypicality is the ultimate pandemic mental disorder. The vast majority of NTs are highly narcissistic, basing their judgments of others on whether they fit in with their own agendas. They automatically reject anyone they cannot manipulate for their own purposes an...

I agree with you. I think there is ample evidence of the flaws in human society. To deviate from the norm, therefore, is not a sign of disorder, but a perhaps a sign of order in reaction to the disorder of the norm. I find it annoying to hear someone say: "Autism Spectrum Disorder". Because I do not...

I am also fascinated by these concepts. If we were able to fully implement efficiency into our life, we'd be able to eliminate all the things that cause the world to be so full of pointless, and I think wasteful and destructive things. There are so many possible areas to apply the concepts, it would...

Interesting, Lene. It is the childish nature of the alien that is a major reason I like it. It evokes feelings of naive wonder, as an alien would feel, if he/she was on the wrong planet.

Ah... I didn't even notice the hippo until you mentioned it! Are you sure its a hippo? It doesn't look anatomically correct. Maybe an alien hippo?

Hello Everyone,
I am just curious who drew the picture of the "Asperger alien."
I like this alien very much. I'd like to buy one of the t-shirts with him(or her) when I have some money.
Was this drawn by the creator of WP, Alex?

Glad to meet you Beef Noodles! Your hobbies sound very interesting to me. Especially lucid dreaming, which I have done many times in the past, but I am unable to control when it happens. It happens spontaneously. If you discover a way to 'choose' to have a lucid dream, please let me know! ~Alexei

If you felt a need for sympathy, you have it. I feel sympathetic for your suffering. Everyone needs to feel someone cares and that they are important to someone. Sometimes, when I've felt like you do, it makes a huge difference just to find someone who will listen to your emotions and sympathize wit...
