yes! People with AS care about others and if a child doesn't have asperger's then he most likely (but not always) would be able to show his concern for others! If a 13 year old knows more about what she's saying than she does, she probably shouldn't be licensed!

girls with asperger's don't have the same symptoms as boys and I've also had people question my diagnosis. I can't say for sure if your friend's an aspie (you would have to tell me more about her), but chances are, if she was tested by competent professionals, that she is. @ Robdemanc I'm an aspie a...

yes!! At night, when I'm really overtired, I get really hyper and talkative (both of which are the opposite of the normal me), I also will randomly laugh hysterically. It's not an AS thing though, it's actually fairly normal. I have NT friends (and siblings) who get really hyper when they are tired....

it is over diagnosed, but also under diagnosed (especially in girls). Also, not all kids with adhd need to go on medication. I'm being tested for ADHD (inattentive type) so, I did a lot of research on it and kids with straight add don't need stimulant-like medicine because they aren't really hyper, ...

Because a smile is not on my face? Do I truly look so sad and down? Does my face really have on an impressive ... |

I dont know, my daughter, 12, is so angry a lot of the time. I feel I'm walking on eggshells around her. She really is very well behaved at school I'm told, then at home turns into this prickly angry scowling ALWAYS cranky girl. I know part of it's puberty, and I know she's holding all her stresses...

you kind of seem to be afraid of offending us, I don't think you should be as concerned about offending us as you are. As a matter of fact, I'll be the first to admit I'm really, really annoying )possibly due to my asperger's).
