| There are few jobs I could imagine that would be worse for someone on the autistic spectrum than a Wal-Mart greeter (possibly a few exceptions, in all fairness). But certainly it's not for me. It's demeaning, and spending all day faking friendliness and acting like someone you are not is not a good ... |

| A telephone interview is probably to the advantage of a a candidate with AS. The advice I always got from my father was always two words "Be yourself", and it really is true. But there's so many things many AS people have to do differently, and much more so in a face-to-face interview. The best exam... |

| Am I correct that just missed the centennial of Dr. Hans Asperger's birth? I saw it in one other's message. He was born February 18, 1906 (died in 1980). Does anyone out there know if there were any special events or news articles I missed? |

| There are actually two origins of my username, fasteddie. On a trip to Alaska that I took one of my favorite restaurants was called "Fast Eddy's". Also, my middle name is Edward, so essentially it's a nickname. |
