I wouldn't wear one, because I don't support a cure. I have better things to wear, like my Kinks T-Shirts. Something that says, "I have a special interest that I will not hide, at the expense of anybody." Not to represent a search for a cure, but rather awareness. If aware people wore these ribbons...

Girl 2, with the buzz cut and lumberjack clothes, is likely a lesbian.

Nice reality check.

BTW doesn't Janet Jackson look like Michael Jackson... ?

I'm seeing this woman, she has many narcissistic qualities, she admits that she does in rare moments of self-reflection, but appears oblivious to her own narcissism most of the time. She loves to relate how wronged she was by her ex-boyfriends, but when she relates what they actually said to her I ...

Dreams are much much better than reality. Some people's dreams are other people's reality. Unless we're talking about fantasy... I remember going to college full-time while working full-time while having to deal with not having a car to get around during the harsh winters. Every morning I would wak...

I don't get it. I mean you guys can't hide it. When people, who know a thing or two about Aspergers, become aware that you are Aspies, they will assume that you have a Aspie Fantasy World membership, even if you don't. Then, they will walk up to you and demand to know the details. Am I wrong, or doe...

Interesting.
Isn't there a ribbon color or bracelet for support of Asperger Syndrome ...research?

Maybe we can start a trend or something. That way you guys can find people who are sympathetic to Aspies or ones themselves.

Is this subject a good conversation starter with Aspies? Or do you guys rather not talk about this subject openly with strangers?

What exact life experiences triggered the change in behavior? You're making it seem like there were some specific events. Maybe it would help if you could identify and reflect on that. Then try to figure out how that relates to your change in response/coping mechanisms. Realize one thing; there are ...

I turn off from the world into my own thoughts as a coping mechanism. I do repetitive movements not to get there but because I'm there. Sometimes I can daydream but other times I would just talk to myself. It's really hard to describe to someone if they've never experienced it. But this world is to...

All in all, I don't think that it would ever work out between me and an Aspie girl because I have a big sense of humor, I can make people laugh until their lives are in danger from choking. And so modest too. that was a joke... Anyways, I got the answer that I was looking for. So we can stop...

ohh...well then carry on Haha, nice way to diffuse a situation. I will give you some thumbs up as soon as I figure out how... This thread s full of gross generalisations :eew: :eew: No two aspies are the same so this thread is pretty pointless. Unfortunately, this was intended to be a gross general...
