Definitely wash and wear. The most I ever do to it is add some leave-in conditioner to control the worst of the frizz.
I used to have really long hair, but I finally had it cut to shoulder length. Now it's even easier to take care of.
Also at the shorter length, it is self-curling.

I went to Webster! :D It's a really good school, and very accepting of all types of people. Webster is expensive, but it's great to have the small classes.
