I think It comes with this website's territory. You are simply going to get a whole bunch of males who are unable to pick up on social cues and whom are unable to read a woman's subtle language (something that even normal people have trouble picking up on). Being deaf to this language will mean fai...

O darkness, if in thy arms I could rest For a while and with these earthly eyes See thy dim smile Maid of twilight, lass of duskfall Hang the moon on the sky's arch Soothe the weight of a darkling day "Rock here in the birch's lap Swing in the manor of wind Lay down your weary head Let the blue star...

I don't know if there is an afterlife or not. I know I'm alive right now. Why waste the only time I know I have on something I don't know I will get? You might as well just spend your entire life locked in a padded cell to appease the padded cell gods.

I don't know that there's any legal recourse that can be taken against them (bearing in mind that isn't my field of expertise), but they should certainly be shamed and shunned for their behavior whenever the opportunity presents itself. I kind of think YouTube, being a privately owned entity, should...

Atheists do not believe in a God-therefor moral truth is relative. They can see morality as some sort of agreement with mankind that we can all get along. However as many atheists see human beings as simply clumps of particles , then how do they make it in their mind that you should not rape someon...

Are you studying at university? I am, and I've found that people there are more willing to, and even enthusiastic about, discussing intellectual topics, especially in honors classes (the regular classes I've been in, on the other hand, are largely composed of people who balk at the notion of asking ...

Basically all of the "Scarecrow Trilogy" of albums by Avantasia. Maybe I'm just projecting, but I suspect the protagonist of this trilogy of concept albums may be autistic. Here are some of the lyrics that really send a shiver down my spine. "Can't you see, can't you see, that you are not like anyon...

False or true accusations aside, why should the whole thing involve the college, instead of just the police? It's not a college's job to play police and court. Actually, it usually is. Obviously I don't know about this specific university, but usually upon enrolment the student will sign a code of ...

It's been my experience that most of us seem to have a spectrum-radar of sorts. Some of us can guess more accurately than others. My "superpower" has always been my ability to quickly formulate precise and compelling arguments, but it really applies to most anything where pattern recognition is para...

From the Wikipedia page on reasonable doubt: "More is required than proof that the accused is probably guilty. A jury which concludes only that the accused is probably guilty must acquit." If the only evidence against an alleged rapist is an accusation-- even three of them-- that person is only prob...

Just out of curiosity, how many times do we have to do the "in fact nearly all rape charges are substantiated, no, it's not about vengeful women just trying to f**k men over" show? I always wonder what other tinfoil-hat conspiracies the people who bring this stuff up get exercised about, and why th...

He is an alleged rapist, not a convicted one. And frankly, even if he did rape her, without evidence, I don't want him to be expelled from the college-- unless, of course, some evidence is produced. That would create a terrible precedent. A precedent that would make it acceptable to eject people fr...

To what case are you referring? I'm just addressing the "yes means yes" bill as a whole. It shifts the burden of proof to the alleged rapist.

I don't claim to have the answer to that question, and I don't claim to know that there is an answer, but this certainly isn't it. We do not assume guilt based only on someone's word.
