I voted that I'd reveal my autism more than the fact I'm gay. Sometimes I mention having autism just to explain why I may be a particular way or why I might have trouble with something. But I would only mention if I felt the other person would be understanding of it. When it comes to stuff to do wit...

I agree about the regular basis thing. I think these London meetups are too infrequent if people want to make friends. Seeing as no one is mentioning a specific date, what about Saturday 11th June - that available for everyone? If people don't want to change the usual location to the Hunterian then ...

I can do any Saturday in June. Who else definitely wants to come? If they can say which dates they are available, we can all agree on a specific one.

I'm up for London in June, sure. Do these meet-ups normally happen on a weekend? I am available weekdays, too. Just thinking of times where it might be less busy and packed with kids.
Where's Kate? Come back! |

Just been to London for the first time in ages to visit some museums and see some gigs. I forgot how interesting a city it is. I am eager to return, so I'm up for a museum London meet soon. Just waiting to hear back from Kate. I have a recommendation that might interest most because it's unique: The...

There's about 14 million museums on my to-do list for London. Also interested in a Kent meet-up. Are there any museums you want to go to that are near a park or an outdoors area? I hate to waste nice weather :-) I'm sure there's loads. But maybe we could visit something that is partly outdoors - wh...

This thread is really under-active. Would any one be interested in something in the South East of the UK? I live in Kent, but would do something as far as London. I live in Kent too and would like another meet-up. I can arrange one in London if that suits you? We can always arrange one in Kent but ...

I can relate to the table a fair bit. E.g. the androgynous traits. I don't ever wear makeup or dress in 'feminine' styles. I do not agree with the gender labels put on everything and the gender roles women (and men) are pressured into. I do however think some points are very presumptive. The thing w...

Hey all, I'm Frankie and I'm 26. I live in Kent in the United Kingdom. Diagnosed with High Functioning Autism literally a few weeks back. Have found making and keeping friends very difficult and it can be so frustrating and boring not having someone to hang out with and relate to. My interests are m...

Maybe not necessarily lying... but it's too scripted. The sayings are vacuous. To me, considering a vacuous phrase as important is illogical. I think people just consider getting straight to the point as rude because society is obsessed with small talk and a veneer of politeness.

That's strange. It's odd how neurotypical think repeating meaningless phrases just to offer fake politeness is necessary. Why not say something you mean? Also, "good morning" isn't always true. Some mornings are horrible. Again, this neurotypical way of lying just because it's considered p...

I'd say in my life right now I am not happy. That's because I have several situations that are really not ideal and a few personal heartbreaks have happened. So, really I'm a prime example of the very common thing where people decide they are not happy by analysing the situations in their life. Wher...
