I hope your kitty is feeling better and that the vet had some answers for you.

I feel that way a lot. It seems like everyone's had their group of friends forever and they're not always that interested in bringing someone 'new' into their circle. And my friendships have evolved as people got jobs further and further away and had children and all. I also find it immensely diffic...

I feel the same way pretty often, like it's too difficult to juggle all of the parts of my life without feeling overwhelmed. Adult life has so many steps to keep things going and I hate the feeling of being unfinished with everything. I feel like I should be able to handle all these little normal th...

I've done it for several years now, but 2011 was the first time I actually met goal. I'll try again this year if I can come up with a good idea in the next two weeks. I'm accepting all ideas, bad or good.

My natural sleep pattern would be about 4-5am until noon. Now if I could just find a flexible job that would let me do it... I have to get up at 7am most days so I usually head to bed at midnight or 1 at the earliest. I just can't seem to fall asleep earlier unless I'm absolutely exhausted.

I don't really like children and won't be having any of my own. I do find some babies to be cute and I don't vomit on sight or anything...I'd just prefer not to have to spend a lot of time with them.

I'm doing trap-neuter-return to feral cats. Who told you that this helps animals, and not just selfish humans who want to control their behaviour and their population? You kidnap them, MUTILATE them, and then "return" them to the wild with a part of their self missing, which results in some kind of...

You can't keep helping animals if you let yourself go as well. You also can't help every single animal and person that comes to you. It's impossible, and trying to do the impossible will make you miserable. :( I feel for you--I volunteer with an animal shelter and it kills me when it's full and anim...

CONFIDENCE! thats the most important thing i think. if you arent confident, you will repel most girls. if you ARE confident, you will attract girls. Well f**k most girls then. I won't change myself into a selfish arrogant prick just to impress women. Confidence and being selfish and arrogant are no...

I dated some very large and very small men in my past. I don't mind guys with some meat or muscle on them, so I felt comfy with guys who were in the 200-220 range, and often quite tall (over 6' for sure, some much more). I am a little chubby myself and for that reason I can't discount people based o...

It might take awhile, but there are definitely people at your college who enjoy getting together and not drinking. I'm not a fan of the drinking parties either--I get too distracted when there are tons of people crammed together and I freeze up even more than I normally do. I stopped even trying to ...

I didn't drop out, but I was miserable in high school and I attempted to find ways to get out of school early. Actually considered taking a GED instead, and was finally able to convince the district to let me take a few college courses online in lieu of my last few extra credits in high school. I wa...

It's always interesting to a see a major shift in society. I wonder if we'll get to the point where marriage isn't considered the default setting the way it seems to be today.
