| I think it's just as unfair to label and judge someone as "neurotypical" as it is to label and judge someone for being "atypical" or "autistic" or an "Aspie". | Well, and this is my opinion, but I think it's more of a justice issue. Justice seems to be a very important issue to a lot of people with AS and autism, and intolerance and judgmentalism are very unjust and cruel. |

| I usually use "Asperger's" because it's more accurate, but sometime do refer to myself as "autistic". |

| I don't hate facebook, especially since it helps me to keep in touch with my kids at college. But I can understand why those with autism and AS would hate it. Most of us are socially awkward, and who wants to be socially awkward in print for the world to see? |

| Hmmmm... I didn't mention "programmed responses", those little things that we always have ready to blurt out (without thinking) in certain situations. I just ended a phone call with my son with the business-like "Thanks a lot...bye", rather than the "Love you, bud...talk to you soon" that I usually ... |
