yes, my mother does this to me all the time. she thinks it is hilarious how flustered and at a loss of words i become when she insists that common things are the opposite. i realize the next day she was messing with me and i feel stupid and laugh at myself.

I can hear those high pitch sounds older TVs make when on mute or on a blank screen or turned down. With the sound on, it tunes out the sound. I can even tell if a TV is on without looking at it. plugging/unplugging ears
shaking arm/hand/leg/foot
fingers

play with your fingers under the desk or in your pocket and no one notices. many people shake their leg also so people dont think its weird. i pace when i am alone and i dont plug my ears anymore

you can be friends with people 2 years younger than you. if its summer you could invite her to a pool or ask if she wants to help you organize a lemonade stand and you could split the profit.
