Lately I've been under some stress. I keep reflecting on all the bad situations that I've gotten myself in (or that others have gotten me in), and I feel responsible for the mistakes that others make. Usually when I'm stressing I can just listen to some music and rock for a little while, but it does...

This song is so great. Regina is one of the few artists that I am really passionate about. I found the other song recently and it's like the skeleton is my social awkardness. I love it :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQe8XEqu7yM...

I'm getting ready to sing a song at church in two weeks. I'm super nervous! I have been in choirs and plays and they don't stress me out but the thought of singing all by myself makes me sick to my stomach. I have a bit of social anxiety. What are some ways you guys use to relax? Thank you.

I have a friend that lives far away (not an Aspie) who has several severe panic attacks daily. They started having them after trying to taper off their depression meds (I forget the name, but they were used for manic depressives and were pretty potent from what I recall.) Now they are taking a highe...

There is a fair coming up soon where I pretty much cram a year's worth of socializing into a week. I'll try to find some magic assertiveness pills and confront anybody I don't know too well.

Thank you for the clarification, everyone. I suppose social acceptance is more important than having silly details corrected in most situations. Let the lip biting begin! :P

I usually just say that I want to be friends, nothing more. I then compliment them on being nice, funny, cool, or something else non-flirtatious and try to find a way to exit the conversation soon after. Works pretty good for me!

I feel like that too, especially starting this year. I started homeschooling, and I pretty much cut myself off from all the people I used to talk to. I certainly wasn't a social butterfly before, but I had around 8-10 people that were likely to approach me and say hey at some time during the school ...

Whenever I see someone who makes a mistake or has their facts messed up in a social setting, I always feel compelled to correct them. I know other's often perceive this as being rude or a know-it-all, but I would want someone to correct me if I was wrong in saying something. How do you react when so...

Lately I've been really depressed in general. I have had a few changes in my schooling, and am currently making yet another transition from homeschooling to private school. I didn't even get any credits for this year. I've been sick some of the time, but the majority of the blame is on me. I have no...

Hello everyone! I'm a former public schooled Aspie girl who will be attending a private high school next fall due to some health and anxiety issues. I'm INT(slightly)J, and I was looking for some advice on how to find a person to date. I don't really have troubles with getting people to become attra...
