Once again, Empathy is not an emotional ability, it's a social skill. Empathy is the ability to read nonverbal signals and respond to them appropriately . This is what autistic people lack. To know what others are feeling by the way they are behaving and to know what the proper response is and take...

It is not an obvious common knowledge, people know little about the rapist "sexuality". And some radical feminists believe that most men have a required rooted mindset to be rapists, that's not true tho. According to my studies, most men are expected to have a subconscious rape psychology, but it h...

Rape fantasies are actually very common amoungst men. I remember one study showed that 1/3 of men had rape fantasies, all of whom had a history of being verbally abused by female peers. The hypothesis is that verbal abuse by female peers reduces an individual's subconsciously percieved romantic valu...

I imagine that if I were this guy, I would have no reason to think that you have any sort of romantic interest in me at all whereas you've given no indication of such. A girl acting friendly with me isn't too new; I personally would probably assume you're trying to exploit my feelings somehow since ...

Assuming that this is completely voluntary, I say that it should be an individuals choice whether or not they wish to disclose that information on their driver's license.

It's a crying shame to see so many people brainwashed by popular dating advice that lacks basis in reality. Then again, I don't really expect a big difference between aspies and NTs in regards to opinion on physical appearance. But how about an empirically tested look at how things really work? If ...

I watched this last year. Great Anime. Shame it came to an end so quickly. I think she has AS traits, but not enough to be a character that would be diagnosed. I think I may recommend this to some NT individuals to see what social life of an aspie feels like, especially without a diagnoses. Maybe s...

I'm actually the opposite. I can do all sorts of accents. I can hardly even control some of them. I find myself speaking in a southern US or British (I can do a few) accent as kind of a stim. I can also do Australian, Irish, German, Russian, Arab, and Oriental.

That's amazing. I've only watched the first couple episodes but I reflect off this character so easily. I'm not as shy (except around girls), and I exhibit more pronounced "stimming" behaviors. but this is otherwise spot-on. I hope any NT who watches this can learn to empathize with us.

It's like I have something stuck to my face or my back; something gross or ridiculous and everybody else can see it on me, but I can't figure out what it is. And for whatever reason, everybody insists on cranking the lights and sounds as instensely as they possibly can while exhibiting no discomfort...

Girls are less attracted to highly masculine males while on the pill because it inhibits ovulation. The ovulation period is where females are most likely to be impregnated, so that's when it's in their biological interest to invest in the best genes available. However, when they're not ovulating, th...

I definately appear to be physically androgenous. I'm baby-faced and don't develop muscle very easily. I think this may be in part due to the fact that I'm half oriental; as we all know, orientals tend to more neotenized overall. My psychology, on the other hand, appears to be quite masculine. Thoug...
