I do not know of where the whole asking Jesus into your heart thing came about. I have never found it in the Bible.

I am a christian with autistic disorder. I think religious beliefs are more common with those with classic autism than those with aspergers. I have autistic disorder. There has never been a high functioning attached to this label. I do not think of my self as low functioning. I think of my self as autistic. I am another diagnosed with autistic disorder who is not ret*d. You must be one of the people who can't tell the difference between a intellectual disability and autism. The number of times people think I have a intellectual disability is frustrating.

Most people think I have a intellectual disability. I don't. But a lot of people have trouble telling the difference between autism and intellectual disability.
