I was thinking about this the other week, when I had a man guess my age as 18 – I’m 21, trying to work out what it was. I’ve noticed over the past few years whenever people try to guess how old I am they have always guessed on average three or four years younger. I wondered if it was that I don’t we...

I get headaches and migraines often. Migraines slightly less now as I’ve gradually worked out the triggers and have some tinted migraine glasses for the light/screen triggered ones. I think working out the triggers can be very useful if you can avoid them but if you discover it’s something you can’t...

I didn’t know there were so many other nelipots on here. (A nelipot is someone who enjoys walking/being barefoot.) I dislike wearing shoes for both of the reasons of them causing discomfort and problems and I like being able to feel the texture, temperature and moisture/dryness of the ground I’m wal...

I used to not make much eye contact, not because I wasn’t sure how to but I felt like the other person could see right onto me and felt really exposed and uncomfortable when I did. I knew it seemed a bit irrational because body language and facial expressions give things away and I can’t hide things...

I don’t have sensitive hearing for small/quiet/high pitched things but I do find some loud noises very uncomfortable like vacuum cleaners, being near a piano being played, cinema for the first ten minutes or so then I seem to adjust to it, and concerts or musical theatre etc.

Sounds a bit like me. If I have something I don’t especially want to do for a class I will keep putting it off and sometimes absolutely anything can distract me if I actually have a go at starting it or I will start doing other things that I should do but have been putting off in preference. I find ...

I suffer from anxiety a lot and also had a lot of trouble sleeping for years until I found something that really makes big difference in helping me sleep (blue light blocking glasses).

I’m much more willing to try natural remedies than conventional medicine and I’ve never heard of either of those before. So out of curiosity I went into two different health food shops and asked but neither of them sold it. Where do you get yours from? i.e. A herbalist, online, natural heath shop, C...

I find Evening Primrose Oil really helps for my PMT, it seems to completely prevent it for me if I remember to take it. It's worth a try, it's a well known remedy. Ginger (especially ginger tea) is said to be good for period pains. Also raspberry leaf tea is apparently good for various women's things.

Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with atypical Asperger’s about four years ago, it took me a long time to accept it and I’m still not at all open about having AS to other people. However I have recently completed a course for people with Asperger’s and found it to be a positive experience especially ...
