This is me acknowledging the edit.
But, our last W2 came in today and I have to finish filing my taxes and make dinner still and I have no idea how to edit my response accordingly without taking more time than I can spare! lol |

That's about as reasonable as convicting rapists based on only the word of their accusers. I don't think the courts should be directly dealing with the victim, to be honest. That's where the problem comes in. If the police officer or judge or anyone is fair and impartial, they will require evidence ...

but... you have no evidence to show that it is increasing. hence you do not know if there is a trend. people are not assuming guilt more often in cases of rape. what i see far more often is people assuming innocence and blaming the victim. what i am concerned about are actual victims - and there ar...

I'm going to try to ignore all the little inaccurate statements that distract from the point. It's easy to get sidetracked by nit picking in these kind of disagreements. I understand why you are so passionate about this subject, but I think a reliance on emotion instead of logic is why both kinds of...

actually, yes, a trend. Something else being more common does not mean the first thing isn't happening. False reporting is a serious problem, and it's commonality is one of the reasons people mistakenly shame and blame real victims. People who have their lives destroyed by someone making a false rep...

PS I love your description of your husband  I call mine a neanderthal :D Thanks. It's more physical than anything. He's 6'7" and very broad shouldered and muscular...and communicates in nothing but grunts and growls the first 30 - 60 minutes he's awake. lol We have pet names...I call him my "s...

Yes, this absolutely happens to me. Anytime I let my guard down enough to try to just have a relaxed conversation with someone. It's SO hard to basically baby talk for everyone all the time, while trying not to insult them with the knowledge that I have to work super hard to baby talk for them all t...

No problem. Aspies is slang. It's a term of endearment. It refers to people with Asperger's. NT is another common one. That is shorthand for neurotypical, though it is sometimes used to mean just "not on the autism spectrum" AS also means Asperger's. HFA means High Functioning Autism, as in the diag...

Yes, this happens to me. It's so calm and peaceful. I have a love/hate relationship with this issue. I think maybe I like it so much that I have trouble willing myself to enter the realm of the speaking again. If it didn't freak my husband and children out so thoroughly when it happened, I don't kno...

My childhood is riddled with experts saying ridiculous things. It started early. lol I didn't speak until I was 3.5 or so. I read before I spoke. My dr. told my parents I was perfectly capable of speaking, but was just very stubborn. They were instructed to refuse to acknowledge me or meet my needs ...

I know a lot about this topic. Until recently, my husband was a bouncer in strip clubs (being very professional and completely uninterested in the girls, he was a hot commodity and worked in clubs all over town). It's a big source of humor for our family and friends to hear his stories about what ha...

They will most certainly melt down and act out in an escalating manner if someone keeps stealing their things (if ... |

When I was a single mom, I was incredibly secretive. Even my doctor purposefully neglected to mention in my file - my diagnosis or the referral he gave me to the specialist that diagnosed me. He knew I was a good mom, and didn't want to risk CPS coming in and taking my kids because of the label. I w...
