Huh, that must be like a portable pothole. I can't say I like the idea of my clothes giving me a hug, in fact the idea in itself sounds sort of creepy. This sounds like a case of engineers trying to solve problems that don't need solving. I don't want to be hugged by an inanimate object as much as I...

Love reptiles. Identify greatly with them, hates cold, rather emotionless, described by others as venomous. For the sake of saying it I have a reptilian fursona. Don't know what that is? Don't worry it doesn't concern you.

For me, social engineering. NT's are largely idiots and they're easy to elicit, manipulate and interrogate. So I made it my hobby. I have BasKet(brilliant program) files on almost everyone I know or encounter, habits, emotional statuses, occupations, views. Anything that can be used to increase unde...

Um, what exactly did you mean to do when you just posted this without a comment? "Oh no, we need eye contact to appear assertive which most of us are incapable of?" I think this is more insulting than helpful.

As autistics we get a unique, almost outside, perspective of human emotion. I can confirm that this is an excellent platform to build up a systematic understanding of feelings and emotions, even if you're like me and don't get a lot of them. speculatively Aspies may make generally better therapists ...

It was originally cancelled because of ratings, then there was a massive uproar and cult following, so they made a film. The film didn't actually make profit in the cinemas, but again, a massive cult following, possibly because of people disliking Fox. As I understand it now, Netflix owns all the r...

Well thank goodness for that. Who else are we supposed to belittle as a community?
But seriously, that film is hilarious. "do you want a hug?".

Tragedy of the commons then. Brilliance suffers at the hands of popularity. I'll point out that there is a massive fanbase for Firefly, what few lines were spoken in the show have since transcended into legend. Problem is they all seem to accept that the show ended. Well, that or I'm really terrible...

http://www.social-engineer.org/ I use this site for social help. It's tricky to master but turns conversation into a quantifiable science which, if most people on this site are like me, should be incredibly interesting and useful. I'd heavily recommend buying their book too.

Yeah, I persistently zone out between destinations. I always get caught up staring at mundane little things and thinking about how they were made, how they got there or what they're for, which is great fun I'll add. I'll also say that this is among the long list of reasons I'm not allowed to drive.

Oh hello thread I have been waiting for. Yeah, I'm naturally cold and egomaniacal. Which is of course made all the much worse by the fact that I'm smart enough to merit being cold and egomaniacal. Did I mention that I love that about me?

Ok, so I just watched all 1 seasons of Firefly after discovering it. Anyone who doesn't know what Firefly is should go watch it immediately so you can join me in asking, and this is why I'm posting, why would Fox cancel Firefly? I beseech you to give me even one valid reason why such a brilliant sho...
