I can think of some behaviors I had as a child which I was told was caused by my autism, but I later realized are actually normal childhood behaviors. I just grew out of them later than usual. I've been told for years that when most people exercise for long enough, they get a dopamine rush and it's supposed to feel good. Has anyone from Canada here seen this documentary on CBC? I live in the US, so I can't watch it. For those who have seen it, what do you think about their scientific theories involving the relation between the gut and autism and their representation of the disorder?
