The fact that I've worked as a customer service rep in call centers is probably the least aspie thing about me, I was also a hotel front desk clerk for a few months and a drive-thru cashier off and on for 10 years. Every job I've ever had involved heavy social contact yet the ones in which the inte...

However, the scientist is actually one light minute away. When does the particle go from being distributed to being in one location? When the scientist actually receives the information, or when the computer records it? Also, what if the scientist isn't there to receive the information, does the el...

Well if youve gotta better idea.. But seriously Einstein said "God does not play dice with the Universe", so you're in good company if you have a gut revulsion to quantum theory, but its the only game in town. Einstien owns the physics of big stuff like galaxies, and quantum theory rules the opposi...

And to everybody else, yes I know a lot of technology that relies on quantum theory, and I'm not doubting if it works for the purposes of these devices (I'm pretty sure I'm typing this on a computer). What I'm really questioning is the interpretations of what's actually going on. Example: Fluid dyn...

For the people who struggle with math - maybe dyscalculia is to blame, rather than AS. I haven't been diagnosed with dyscalculia by a psychology, but I definetly feel like it explains my lack of mathematical aptitude. As much as I'd like to investigate that possibility, I don't think any mental pro...

Wallaby.

It's the best word. I use it to name things that have nothing to do with wallabies. Sim Cities, Minecraft worlds, rockets and many of my unfinished RPG maker projects are called some variation of the word.

What characteristic or behavior of yours is far from the autistic stereotype? For me, it's my sense of humor and my general enjoyment of small talk. I have a very firm grasp of humor and sarcasm, and in fact my sense of humor is one of my defining characteristics and my main tool in navigating soci...

Crazy people, yes, eccentric people, hell no I love eccentric. I dunno, deliberately 'crazy' (ie eccentric, not really crazy) turns me off - ie. Lady Gaga. Eh, forced craziness is soooo boring. Rather hypocritical and greedy (in Gaga's case). Thing is, Gaga's kind of craziness is embraced because i...

Eccentricity is the real motor of change!

Too often does society forget that fact.

It seems to attract crack-heads more than aspies.

Since that episode from South Park, my friends have been dubbing my condition ''being a cynical bastard''. In jest, of course. I think it's pretty freaking funny, to be honest XD

''He strove every day to become a better man. As death approached, he could with confidence say : I have never been a better person than I am now.''
