If I'm in a situation where eye contact is important, I look at the space between the eyes instead. I find that less uncomfortable, and the person I'm talking to can't tell the difference.

In my opinion, the plea and verdict "Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity" should be abolished. In its place should be a two-fold plea and verdict of "Guilty While Insane", and that the person should then receive treatment for the insanity, and then serve the usual sentence for the crime. If I was going to invite people out, I probably wouldn't want to invite somebody who doesn't care for my company. So I have to admit I can kind of understand why they aren't inviting you. I don't know anything about cosplaying, but do you really need to go with a group, or with this specific group? ...
