I played the violin up until about 4 years ago. Recently someone got me back into it, but it's taking a lot of dedication to get back to where I was.

Hello All, I see how many products there are for children with Autism, but does anyone know of a place where products for adults can be found? I'm thinking of things like weighted vests and blankets, chewelry, interactive lights and environments, snuggle socks and that type of thing. Any advice help...

I need a project (preferably an in depth one) to keep me occupied. Any suggestions? I would like one that uses a computer quite alot, and then maybe some gluing and pasting, lol. Anything?

BPD patients can be very irritable at times and not even realize they're doing it. Binging attention to the fact that they ARE doing it, can make them madder. Have you tried Adderall or Vyvanse? I had the same problem as you, except for the non-verbal part, and got on a high dose of Adderall (which was later switched to Vyvanse). Now my girlfriend can actually stand me lol. She says those meds saved our relationship. In addition, I am on Abilify at night,...

I own my own Sign Language Interpreting Company and do freelance ASL Interpreting. The hardest thing for me was to learn billing and how to do taxes (both are just a matter of finding good software). After that it was okay. But remember, a freelance business is just one person with no employees.

I have BPD too, with hallucinations, but not Schizophrenia. My condition is very well controlled by Lithium, Abilify, and Vyvanse (although it took nearly ten years to find the right combination).

Do you take meds?
