you might want to take a close look at the core books. nWoD is Very different from oWoD you can get the pdf's for the books online. they fixed a lot of the brokenness of the system. I mean, seriously, when you're brand new werewolf is more than a match for the thousand year old vampire, there's a pr...

If you played Changeling: the Lost you were playing new world. If it was Changeling: the Dreaming you were playing old world.

Atheism could be flawed. It's a 50/50 chance, either at least one deity exists, or no deities exist. Of course, I say it is flawed, at least one deity exists. Please, sir. Chuck Norris is deeply offended that you've equated him with something as small and powerless as a deity. EDIT: Crap, used my w...

That's very true. it's been a long hard road, and once some of my inner turbulence settled, the hallucinations went away. i didn't even realize it at first, that wasn't my goal at the time. It seemed to be a side effect of getting my life more under control and coming to terms with trauma's in my pa...

^_^ sounds awesome.
by the way, it's venue, not class.
I've only ever played VtR as a LARP, though I've played VtM tabletop frequently. Requiem is old world, and while the LARP was awesomely fun, I still, personally, I prefer nWoD. |

Anyone else in here like White Wolf's New World of Darkness game setting? I personally love them, Changeling the Lost in particular.
Tell me about it, which system do you like? What's your favorite thing about it? |

First, I apologize for the double post, but someone posted while I was typing my novel up there. He may literally not know how important doing the day to day stuff with you is to maintaining your relationship. The book recommended earlier in this thread, "The Journal of Best Practices", is about exa...

I know most of his interests, and they are actually ones I share. He likes Role-playing games. i like them too, he traverses Giantitp all the time, he likes Magic the Gathering, we have a substantial collection of cards, and he likes to discuss topics such as religion, politics (I'm afraid politics ...

@werewolf thank you very much for your input. So far, yours has actually been the most reasonable and thought out opinion I have heard. The story of your brother and his girlfriend is similar to mine and Jades. he was a lot different when I first met him, and over the course of the years I have seen...

I am sure that there is fault on both sides, and as for the someone screaming at you. I can see how it would look that way. I have a hard time containing my emotions sometimes, and when I get emotionally charged, it comes out in my writing. I was crying for a good deal of that post, a good portion o...

I will thank you, but Jade was diagnosed when he was 10 years old. It's so trying sometimes. I put up list of when things like lunch and snack time are, what chores are to be done on which days... he doesn't even think to look. Something as simple as doing the dishes. I've asked him every day, at le...

My husband and I have been together for five years, living together for three, and married for two of those three. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm at my wits end and I just don't know what to do. I'm about ready to turn off the internet, because, despite his promises to the contrary, he spends ...

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. I'm glad you have come to terms with your voices. It was something I was never able to do, since in my case, they dominated my life. If I am not on antidepressants, I fall back into the voices, the paranoia, and the profound depression. They would say cruel th...
