There is a well known essay called "Welcome to Holland" or something like that - in the world of exceptional ed. If you haven't seen it, find it. It helps to be able to call some one and rage that there is NOTHING good about Holland (even if it's not true). You did not mention your child's diagnosis...

Sorry. One more thing to suggest. Our OT recently gave me a book called "Oh, Behave!" It is a brief, to the point primer on differentiating misbehavior from behavior that is generated out of sensory integration deficits, etc. This would be an excellent read for any teacher who has young students, NT...
